Requirements:
Eligible organizations must:
- Be organized as a nonprofit entity under the laws of the State of Texas and recognized
as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization by the Internal Revenue Service.
- Be located in and/or primarily serve residents of Atascosa County.
- Have annual gross nonprofit organization’s board approved budget of less than $2
million.
- Be able to demonstrate and provide supporting documentation that from March 15,
2020 to December 31, 2021, the nonprofit organization has incurred increased costs or
revenue loss due to the public health emergency with respect to COVID-19
- Have been in operation and provided essential social and family services since at least
January 2019.
